Green Bean Casserole

A perfect side dish for a thanksgiving dinner.

1 can  Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbsp butter
1 teaspoon soy sauce
ground black pepper
4 cups cut green beans
chicken broth-2 cups
1/2 medium onion
1 1/3 cups  French Fried Onions--(recipe below)


  • cook greean beans in chicken broth for 10 mins
  • saute onions in butter
  • Stir soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and sauted onions and half of FF onions in a  casserole.
  • Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling.  Stir the bean mixture.  Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
  • Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
